By introducing real objects, using a model of pronunciation and demonstration for explaining any new words , learners will have greater enthusiasm in the learning process as well as remembering a number of English words to use them in a communicative manner. This research focuses on how to teach vocabulary using the 21st century skills at Libyan secondary schools . These techniques include using digital cameras ,streaming video and smart phones and these techniques help young learners to communicate their ideas and acquire vocabulary. Burmark ,(2002:5) argues that "with access to internet and an image –rich curriculum can reach more students and teach them more quickly and meaningfully than traditional written students reports and text based verbal instruction".
