The findings of the study have shown that all the universities included in this study attempt to develop their methodology to achieve success. However, little attention was given to the fast changes and developments in the field of translation. The curricula of the translation program at the Libyan Academy is a case in point. The study recommends that the designer of translation curricula should always keep an eye on the developments and innovations in the respective field of research. The principles of the curricula should be based on acquiring competence and skills with respect to both the market and academic needs, and also should shape the program to serve teaching culture, knowledge and intercultural skills.
