PLS version 3.3.3. Statistical results showed that the parameters obtained were within
acceptable limits and in good agreement with previous studies. Results showed that a
moderate level of risk management practices, encompassing risk identification,
assessment, and response and monitoring was practiced but needed further
improvement. The findings indicated that effective risks management positively and
significantly impacted financial risks and the overall performance of construction
projects in Libya. It was further shown that the financial risk has been identified as a
significant partial mediator in the relationship between risk management practices and
the projects performance in Libyan construction industry. The study undertaken was
found to be consistent with previous investigators in similar area. The study was
considered an important step towards the implementation of quality assurance in the
construction industry notably in Libya
