Abstract
This study aims to know the trends (substantive, temporal, formal, and numerical) related to the scientific publishing movement at the Libyan *Academy for Postgraduate Studies (Janzour) and to inventory the intellectual production issued by the Libyan Academy, Janzour, in addition to knowing the growth rate in intellectual production since the beginning of the scientific publishing movement at the academy. And identifying the most important difficulties and obstacles facing the publishing movement in periodicals issued by the Libyan Academy - Janzour.
To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher used the bibliographic approach ((descriptive)), which is concerned with analyzing the characteristics of intellectual production in terms of temporal, objective, numerical and spatial aspects. The study included all articles published in the Libyan Academy (Janzour), during the period extending from 2006 - 2022, and these publications were counted. Determine the different directions of publishing.
The study concluded in the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences from the period extending from (2006 - 2022) that the number of articles published in it in the Arabic language reached (249) compared to (19) articles in the foreign language, and the publications during the period extending from 2006 - 2012 amounted to 55 articles, and the period between 2013 - 2017, with 103 articles in periodicals, and the period between 2018-2022, with 102 articles.
*As for the Journal of Media and Arts, the study concluded that during the period extending from (2020 - 2022), the number of its articles published in the Arabic language reached (227) articles, compared to (2) articles in the foreign language, and the publications during the period extending from (2020 - 2021 March) amounted to 80 articles, and the period Between (June 2021 - March 2022) 75 articles, and the period between (June 2022 - December 2022) 54 articles in periodicals.
*As for the Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, the study found that from the period extending from (2006 to 2022) there were (69) articles published in the Arabic language compared to (199) articles in the foreign language, and the publications during the period between 2006 - 2013 amounted to 46 articles, while the period between 2014 - 2018 With a number of 107 articles, and the period between 2019 - 2022, with a number of 115 articles in periodicals.
In terms of ranks, the Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences came in first place in the Libyan Academy journals (Janzour) in terms of the number of authors participating in the issue, followed by the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences in second place and finally the Journal of Media and Arts. The peer-reviewed scientific journals of the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies (Janzour) have been attended by a large number of Libyan and foreign universities.
