Our results revealed that Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium was the best medium for plantlets multiplication compared with those grown on Woody Plant Medium (WPM). Regarding growth regulators, our results demonstrated that MS basal medium supplemented with 1mg/l kinetin (kin) revealed the highest number of shoots per explant produced by single node after 8 weeks of culture. The MS basal medium containing 4mg/l. growth vii regulator Indol-3- butyric acid (IBA), however, was the best in term of rooting of growing shoots.
