This research concentrated on creating a straightforward and tailored treatment technique specifically designed for the Zelten oil field in Libya. Samples were taken from both the outland separators and the disposal pit at this level. We examined water samples for hydrocarbons, heavy metals, chemical oxygen demand, turbidity, salinity, and total dissolved solids, both prior to and following various treatment processes: sand filter, sand-dolomite filter, activated carbon-sand filter, sand-activated carbon-dolomite filter, and solvent extraction. The efficacy of TPH therapy was assessed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
