The results presented clearly show that MNRNP is an area of national importance for the conservation of wild mammals. Fires were the largest threat to the reserve mammal species, in addition of impact of fires on the flora and the soil of the reserve, fires also were responsible for the habitat loss to some reserve species. Hunting also were recorded in and at the adjacent lands of the reserve that might lead to threatened or extinction of some species especially those wandering near the human areas. Serious priority recommendations concerning mammals and future studies were presented on the basis of this survey.
