The presence of heavy metals in food poses significant and countless health risks to the human body, especially children, if they are found at high levels that exceed the permissible limits according to international standards and specifications recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and according to what is stipulated in the Food Codex Regulation. 14/2019 in many countries. The study examined the measurement of some heavy metals (lead, cadmium, copper, iron, and zinc) in baby food and infants formula.
