The findings pointed out that the three groups studied varied in values of T4 levels, pregnant women with hyperthyroidism significantly elevated the value of T4 level to 18.73 µg/dL as compared with 10.52 µg/dL for the healthy women group while pregnant women with hypothyroidism significantly decreased the level of T4 to 4.40 µg/dL. The results showed that the level of free T3 in the pregnant women group was significant elevation recorded at 140.46 ng/dL as compared with 99.33 ng/dL for healthy pregnant women, while pregnant women recorded a decrease in the level of free T3 which was recorded 59.94 ng/dL. The upper level of free T3 was recorded at 154.20 ng/dL while the lower level was recorded at the pregnant women group (1.16 ng/dL
dc.description.abstractthe correlation between thyroid hormone disorders and insulin resistance in pragmatic pregnant women. The results showed that there is a significant difference in the average age of women for the three groups studied. The results recorded that the two groups of women with high thyroid glands and women with low thyroid were significantly superior to the group of healthy women in the average age of women, as they were recorded at 37.0 and 37.82 years. respectively, compared to 32.20 years for the control group (healthy women). The results confirmed that the group of women with hypothyroidism was significantly excellent of the groups, as they recorded 69.74 kg, while the group of healthy women recorded 56.28 kg, While the group of women with hyperthyroidism did not record any significant difference with the control group (54.89 versus 56.28) kg, respectively. The results revealed that the average TSH level showed a significant difference for the groups studied. The group of pregnant women with hypothyroidism had the largest significant increase, amounting to 8.72 mIU/L compared to 1.50 mIU/L for the control group, while the group of pregnant women with hyperthyroidism had a significant decrease of 0.29 mIU/L. The results revealed that the groups studied varied in their mean T3 value, women with hyperthyroidism were significantly superior recording 3.55 µg/dL as compared with healthy women who recorded 1.69 µg/dL while women with hypothyroidism decreased the mean of T3 value to 0.71 µg/dL respectively
