The findings pointed out that the three groups studied varied in values of T4 levels, pregnant women with hyperthyroidism significantly elevated the value of T4 level to 18.73 µg/dL as compared with 10.52 µg/dL for the healthy women group while pregnant women with hypothyroidism significantly decreased the level of T4 to 4.40 µg/dL. The results showed that the level of free T3 in the pregnant women group was significant elevation recorded at 140.46 ng/dL as compared with 99.33 ng/dL for healthy pregnant women, while pregnant women recorded a decrease in the level of free T3 which was recorded 59.94 ng/dL.
