الوصف
Golden paintbrush (Castilleja levisecta) is an herbaceous perennial plant endemic to the grasslands of the Pacific Northwest coast of North America. Historically, golden paintbrush populations existed between the Willamette Valley of Oregon north to British Columbia, generally on south-west facing coastal prairies with sandy, well-drained soils of glacial origin (U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 2000). Natural populations no longer exist in Oregon and the species is extirpated.
