This study investigates the performance of a vapor compression refrigeration system using two distinct refrigerants, R134a and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), with a focus on evaluating their energy efficiency and environmental impact. The experiment employs varied operating conditions to comprehensively assess and compare the system's performance characteristics with these refrigerants. The experimental setup is meticulously designed to accommodate both R134a and LPG, allowing for precise monitoring of critical parameters such as refrigerant flow rate, compressor power consumption, condenser and evaporator temperatures, and refrigeration capacity throughout the experimental trials.
