dc.description.abstract | The incidence rate of implant-related infection after arthroplasty and fracture fixation remains high despite advancements in surgical operations and techniques. The formation of biofilm on implant devices leads to connective tissue destruction, impaired vascularization, implant loosening, and joint dislocation (Campoccia et al., 2006). This antibiotic resistance makes it challenging to manage implant infections (Gbejuade et al., 2015). | |
