dc.descriptionThe generated simulation results illustrate the bit error rate (BER) performance in various communication channels and with varying numbers of antennas on both the sending and receiving sides. Obtaining a sufficient BER more energy (Eb/No) with uncoded M-ary PSK and M-ary QAM (M=4, 8, and 16) required than with TCM-coded M-ary PSK and M-ary QAM (M=4, 8, and 16) in all circumstances. Moreover, the BER performance is more significant when the signal is sent via the AWGN channel than the Rician and Rayleigh channels. The achieved simulation results are validated further by analysing the constellation diagrams of M-ary PSK and M-ary QAM, with and without TCM, over the three communication channels, both before and after the communication channel.
dc.description.abstractWireless data transfer with high speed is essential in most wireless communication systems. The majority of studies examine and enhance service systems that provide greater data rates and spectral efficiency to accommodate more users and improved channel capacity needs. Modulation schemes and coding techniques are critical parameters to optimize the data throughput of a wireless system using orthogonal space-time block code (OSTBC) with state￾of-the-art multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. This study evaluates the bit error rate (BER) performance and constellation diagrams of M￾ary PSK and M-ary QAM for M=4, 8, and 16 with and without trellis code modulation (TCM) in 2x2, 2x3, and 4x4 MIMO systems over Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN), Rician and Rayleigh communication channels
