dc.description | Oscillation damping controller placement has an important position as one of a top required technologies in electrical network systems. Recently, this technology has received wide attention from engineers and researchers due its contribution to stability of the network under various operating conditions also preserving its equipment from damage. This oscillation damping controller has been developed to meet several operational challenges which lead to low frequency oscillation phenomena (LFO) and work on coordination among (FACTS-PSS) to give the network greater reliability and higher performance quality. Whereas, PSS is one of those devices utilized to dampen the oscillation of low frequencies which considered in the this study to highlight the importance of the use PSS and its effective role in reducing network connectivity between the stations and also the extent of their contribution to maintain the stability of the network at any critical operating conditions , this what was explained through the results of this research, in which the comparison between the use of PSS in the case of Poor network connectivity and use of PSS in the presence of a strong network coherent accomplished. | |
