dc.descriptiontechnology-based resources were highly beneficial for teaching and learning. Taking these findings into account, a set of suggestions for E-learning integration into Libyan higher education has been developed.
dc.description.abstractAbstract This study explores the effectiveness of using E-learning at three Libyan higher education institutions: namely: AlRefak University, Afrikeia University and Tripoli Al ahleia University. It identifies the perspectives of both teachers and students towards adopting this technique. An interpretative methodology using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews was employed to gather information from the study participants. This study has shown that the use of E-learning in Libyan higher education is still in its early stages and is challenged by numerous difficulties, the most significant of which is the country's "immature" infrastructure. According to the findings of the study, limited access to computers and web-based technologies, as well as a lack of prior ICT experience, affected the E-learning abilities and experiences of both teachers and students.
