| dc.description | As all business organizations in Libya ( public, private- into products or services) are facing numerous challenges as a result of rapid and continuous changes which render traditional management along with its operations and tools unable to be competitive, this study is an analytical study of LIDCO to determine the impact of the strategic factors on improvement of evaluation effectiveness of LIDCO management performance using SWOT in conjunction with following criteria : (Total Quality Management Criteria, Quality Performance Criteria and Competitive Position Criteria). Through interviewing LIDCO employees of different levels, and review of project monthly reports, in addition to a questionnaire to have maximum number of their points of view. | |

These tools are very beneficial in steering an organization in straight direction. Strategic factors rely on the interaction between internal and external factors and on determining the future mission and vision of the organization in the light of determined objectives, and regulatory strategies and policies. SWOT is the most famous strategic tool. It is used to analyze the internal work environment of an organization in relation to the external environment of the suppliers, competitors, customers and other groups of interest. | |
