Medicinal chemistry has placed a lot of importance on the five- and/or six-membered heterocyclic molecules that include nitrogen (N) and oxygen (O) [3]. Pyranopyrazole synthesis is limited by some factors, including reagent costs, possible environmental hazards, harsh reaction conditions, extended reaction times, time-consuming workup methods, and inadequate yields.A series of novel fused pyrazole derivatives was synthesized through multicomponent reactions of pyrazol-5(4H)-one derivatives with various reagents, affording diverse heterocyclic frameworks. The antiproliferative activity of the synthesized compounds was evaluated against six cancer cell lines using Foretinib as a reference, where several compounds exhibited either broad or selective potent activity. Furthermore, c-Met inhibition and PC-3 cell line assays identified eight compounds with pronounced dual activity, highlighting their potential as promising candidates for anticancer drug development.ACTIVE HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDSSYNTHESIS OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS SYNTHESIZED FROM ACTIVE CYANOMETHYLENE REAGENTS AND β-DIKETONES.
