The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are: There are controls for Sharia compliance with regard to investment business in Islamic insurance companies in Libya, but with an incomplete level of effectiveness in terms of documentation and commitment to implementation. There is also a weak level of strategic direction in managing investment activity in these companies, making it difficult to achieve excellence. In performance, the active technical operations of the investments in the companies under study are managed at a weak level of performance, making it difficult to achieve the goals. The study recommended that the management of Islamic insurance companies completely shift towards strategic management in all their work, as well as adopting an active technical management method for investments in a way that includes all applicable procedures.ABSTRACT The problem of the study appears in evaluating the performance of investment activity management in Islamic insurance companies in Libya. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the extent to which there are effective controls for the legal commitment to investment in Islamic insurance companies, as well as evaluating the orientation towards strategic management when managing investment businesses, and also evaluating the presence of technical management.
