OSH aims to enhance workplace safety by analyzing incidents and injuries and providing guidelines to mitigate risks, thereby protecting workers and boosting productivity (Kawiana et al., 2018). Despite the introduction of various safety regulations and guidelines, the construction industry's safety record remains concerning globally. This sector, which employs about 7% of the world's workforce, accounts for more than 100,000 deathsDespite its economic significance, the construction industry remains one of the most hazardous work environments (Priya et al., 2021). The International Labour Organization (ILO) reports that over 108,000 construction workers die annually, with their risk of fatal accidents being three to four times higher than in other industries (ILO, 2015). Only the mining sector has a worse safety record, with accidents leading to significant productivity losses, permanent disabilities, and employee absences (Smith & Pillarisetti, 2005).CONSTRUCTION PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENTCONSTRUCTION PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT TOOLS FOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH IN LIBYA
