The study also dealt with the issue of grammatical boundaries in Ibn al-Hajib's Al-Kafiya. These objections were divided into four categories: objections to the definition for being either non-inclusive or non-exclusive, objections based on circular reasoning, objections on the inclusion of redundant elements, and objections concerning metaphorical meanings. This study constitutes a valuable addition to the Arabic literary corpus. It raises important topics in Arabic grammar, such as the issue of grammatical boundaries in the work of Ibn al-Hajib. It also sheds light on theABSTRACT The subject of this study is an Arabic grammatical manuscript titled kitāb al fukuk fi Sharh al- shūkūk authored by Ibrahim bin Ahmed al-Jaraberdi. The manuscript is a commentary on the book Shūkūk" 'ala Al-Hajibiya. In this book, the author has collected the responded to the citations and criticisms of Kafiat Ibn Al Hajib. The book is of significant importance as it addresses many controversial topics presented in al-Kafiya fi al-Nahu. The author has compiled these issues and objections into a single book. The problem with the study is that this book is still in manuscript. As such, this study aimed to verify the authenticity of the manuscript (tahqiq) and present it in the form that is the original author intended. Additionally, the study aimed to clarify the author's sources, the foundational principles he used for his arguments, and his method of addressing objections raised against Ibn al-Hajib's al-Kafiya. The methodology adopted to achieve the study's objectives intended the tahqiq method and historical analysis. This study confirmed the manuscript's attribution to its author through copies relied upon. It also elucidated the author's methodological approach in his book and the sources on which he based his responses and evidence for refuting objections. The four pieces of evidence vary and include: Sama' (oral transmission), which covers quoting Quranic verses, Prophetic Hadiths, poetic citations, andinfluence of logic not only in defining grammatical boundaries but also in reasoning and preferring one grammatical rule over another.TAḤQĪQ KITĀB ALFUKŪK FĪ SHARḤ Al-SHŪKŪK
