Accordingly, pulpectomy is the best choice to treat primary teeth with irreversible pulpitis or necrosis.(3) The main goal of endodontic treatment is elimination of microorganisms from the root canal system. This could be achieved through chemo-mechanical removal of vital tissues, residual necrotic material, infected dentine and debris. This makes the elimination of organic debris by cleaning and shaping is one of the most important steps in a successful pulpectomy procedure. (4)One of the fundamental objectives of pediatric dentistry is conservation of primary teeth in form and function until their normal exfoliation. Premature loss of primary teeth with irreversible pulp pathosis has the potential to destabilize the developing occlusion with space loss, arch collapse, and premature, delayed or ectopic eruption of the permanent successors.(1) Although, there is no better space maintainer than the primary teeth, however it may be the only choice after premature loss of primary teeth.
