The sample of the study consists of data source: Letter of credit texts, and human sample: 30 translation students, 7 banking professional translators, and 13 instructors of the translation students who were in three groups: transl e instructors to have a clear background about the students' subjects and courses.This research study investigates the translation of letter of credit terms, the relationship between those terms and their L/C rules and regulations used by the University of Gheryan and University of Misurata, as well as, the banking professional translators. The survey of personal data, translation test, and questionnaire were presented to the translation students and banking professional translators in order to confirm the difference between the two groups.
