ABSTARCT This study examined the abuse of foreign missions for diplomatic missions and its impact on Libyan national security from 2011-2021. The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961 organized the work of diplomatic missions accredited to the host state and granted the diplomatic envoy the necessary immunities to carry out his mission, provided that he does not interfere in the internal affairs of the host state. This study sought to illustrate the interference of foreign missions in the diplomatic mission in internal affairs and its impact on Libyan national security. The aforementioned interventions are considered one of the most important issues that affect the national security of the accredited state when the diplomatic envoy misuses his assigned duties. From this standpoint, this study was interested in researching the impact of the deliberate transgressions of foreign missions in Libya and the extent of their implications for its sovereignty and national security. This study was divided into two chapters: the first chapter included the legal system for the work of diplomatic missions, while the second chapter dealt with the misuse of the foreign mission of its diplomatic duties and its impact on Libyan national security.
