Cosmetic is defined as any article intended to be rubbed, poured, sprinkled or sprayed on, or introduced into, or otherwise applied to, the human body or any part therefore cleaning, beautifying promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance, and includes any article intended for use as a component of cosmetic[1]. Cosmetic products are regulated for health and safety. There are concerns about the presence of harmful impurities in these products. Cosmetics are mixtures of surfactants, oils and other ingredients that are required to be effective, long lasting, stable and safe to human use.
