There are many techniques that have been used in e-learning system. To deal with adaptivity in different manners. Most of e-learning problems concern about four main issues such as: preferred learning style, course content presentation, intelligent tutoring system, and e-learning standards [2]. Adaptation has been defined as providing a different response based on different characteristics of the receivers of the response [3]. This research attempts to improve adaptive e-learning system by developing a system called ALTENN model. Neural network approach has been adapted to extract the most preferred learning style for each learner based on his/her learning types. A neural network consists of interconnected computational nodes, referred to as perceptions that map input attributes to one or more outputs [2]. Therefore, this model makes use of the advantages of the neural network to extract the learner style based on their thinking style
