The principal attraction of elliptic curve cryptography compared to RSA is that it
offers equivalent level of security for a smaller key-size. The resulting elliptic curve
cryptographic systems provide relatively small block size, high speed, and high security.
ECC helps to establish equivalent security with lower computing power and battery resource usage,
it is becoming widely used for mobile applications.
