On the other hand, e-commerce serves to conduct business with the help of telecommunications-centric instruments. It refers to the exchange of organizational data, the preservation of business relationships and the performance of operational transactions through telecommunication systems. E-commerce takes place through the Internet, digital platforms and common software technologies for the exchange of data on goods and services, as well as other information that is needed for communication with everyone in the chain of economic activities. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Accelerating the structural reforms needed to transition to a market-driven economy included building a sound investment environment by strengthening the financial and banking system with strong institutions to support open markets. Economists interested in long-term increases in productivity study economic growth. Advances in technology, capital accumulation, better education and human capital lead to increased economic performance. However, output may not always increase with economic performance. Business cycles can cause short-term declines in output, called recessions. Economists look for macroeconomic policies that prevent economies from entering recessions and that lead to faster and longer-term growth. | |
