Talking about reforming the higher education system in Libya is a fraught talk.
Universities that are the locomotive of development for community institutions
stagnate, so there is a gap between higher education and community
development plans, which stems mainly from the preparation of trained and
qualified cadres within various specializations, and multiple levels of
qualification. ; To meet the society’s needs of the required manpower, and then
the reform of higher education is a basic factor in the process of reforming and
modernizing society, given the important role that higher education plays in
building society and its various institutions. The direction of society and its
future is related to the quality of education, which must be in accordance with
the society’s development plans, and also be able to meet its needs, and an
active factor in its development and progress, because it represents the main
pillar in creating a trained workforce that meets the needs of development and
the labor market, and through it Creating generations capable of communicating
with the world and dealing with its developments effectively and competently.
On the other hand, higher education contributes to building and consolidating
the national identity.
