| dc.description.abstract | This study critically examines the export performance of Libya toward selected Asian nations, with a focused intent on identifying existing trade barriers and exploring untapped opportunities for strengthening economic cooperation and bilateral trade ties. As global trade dynamics continue to shift, particularly with Asia emerging as a major hub for imports of raw materials, energy, and agricultural commodities, Libya’s strategic location and natural resource wealth position it as a potentially key partner for Asian economies. The motivation behind this research stems from the growing need for Libya to diversify its economic base, reduce dependency on oil exports, and integrate more effectively into the global trade ecosystem, particularly through engagement with fast-growing Asian markets such as China, India, Malaysia, South Korea, and Indonesia. | |
