The main objective of this thesis is to study differential subordination properties for certain classes of univalent and p-valent functions defined in open unit disk { | | }, where is the complex plane. This thesis contains three chapters. In chapter one, we recall some notations and standard definitions of analytic functions. Also, we give a brief survey of different linear operators, which are used in the subsequent chapters and some in important know results which we need to complete our results. In chapter two, coefficient inequalities are determined for univalent functions with negative coefficients that are starlike and convex of order α. Also, we introduce and study some new subclasses univalent starlike, convex and close –to-convex functions by linear operator. Inclusion relations are established and linear operator in these subclasses is discussed.
