dc.descriptionThe greatest socio-economic challenge today is to increase employee productivity, attract and retain highly qualified employees, and improve the productivity ofexisting employees. The organization must be able to offer a safe, comfortable and complex workplace. Studies show that the workplace and the environment can influence physical and mental work as well as employee satisfaction. However, there is little empirical research into the relationship between the workplace and the health and wellbeing of workers. This study examines the impact of workplace design on the health and wellbeing of people who work for a large Libyan govemment organization. The study has a causal relationship with employee health and well-being as dependent variables and with workplace design factors as independent variables. Primary data was collected through a verified questionnaire on employees working in the administration building of the government organization.
