dc.descriptionsupport business decision-making. This can help healthcare centres develop new opportunities and implement effective strategies, thus, achieving competitive advantage and long-term stability. One of the BI solutions that this research supplies is data mining and machine learning. There’s more than sufficient room for both data mining and machine learning to thrive. The continued dominance of Big Data means that there will always be a need for data mining. And the continued drive and demand for smart machines will ensure that machine learning still is a very much in-demand skill. In this study, visualization of correct and complete data from a private clinic in Libya helps them make the right decisions using BI tools, which will help users to understand complex processes and relationships using easily assimilated, customized visual reports that help users to make prompt and informed decisions and take actions that will improve performance.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Every day, a little more of our world turns to digital solutions to handle tasks and solve problems, where interest in the application of Business Intelligence in different areas has been growing from year to year. Also, the healthcare area in today’s world is growing faster with a huge amount of data. Every day, hospitals collect a huge volume of data. The challenge they now have is how to make the data inside the relationship database meaningful information for executive leaders in the organization; to make effective decisions based on what is going on now and to predict what will happen shortly. The wealth of available data in healthcare will continue to increase, raising the demand for improved quality of patient care, needing the improvement of healthcare BI. This rising demand can be best addressed by considering business intelligence technology solutions for data acquisition, storage, interpretation, and evaluation. One can say that the introduction of an integrated Business Intelligence solution and framework for healthcare analytics and the development of an Information system. This will lead to better decisions in healthcare centres, which is the main goal of this research. Also, the developed application software will be tested using ISO 25010:2011 quality characteristics. Software quality standards are a significant matter nowadays, especially in the current era, the era of development and technology.
