| dc.description | This thesis addresses the security and performance issues of AKE-based 6LoWPAN in M2M. A comprehensive literature review examined past and present advancements in AKE-based 6LoWPAN in M2M and analyzed the various strategies employed from numerous viewpoints. Several proposed AKE-based 6LoWPAN schemes face many attacks with high communication, computation, and storage overhead. It has been discovered that recent schemes that have been proposed fail to achieve their intended objectives. An essential contribution of this thesis is the development of the Lightweight and Privacy-Preserving (6LPP) Framework based on 6LoWPAN, which provides secure and efficient authentication mechanisms by integrating lightweight cryptographic primitives such as efficient symmetric key algorithms and secret parameters. | dc.description.abstract | Rangkaian Sensor Tanpa Wayar (WSN) menerajui Internet Benda (IoT) dengan 6LoWPAN (IPv6 melalui rangkaian kawasan peribadi tanpa wayar berkuasa rendah) memainkan peranan penting dalam pelbagai aplikasi, contohnya pemantauan pertanian, automasi industri dan penjejakan ternakan. Namun, kerentanan keselamatan 6LoWPAN dalam aplikasi-aplikasi ini, terutamanya apabila dihubungkan ke rangkaian awam yang tidak terjamin, boleh mengundang risiko yang besar.
