dc.descriptionhe real value of the pasture is measured by its content of protein, carbohydrates, fatty compound and the level of some elements as cobalt, copper and iron that their deficiency in the pasture could cause many animal diseases especially that grows in alkaline soils. The deficiency of cobalt in the pasture causes many diseases that could be fetal, as it is considered as a beneficial element for legumes. In addition to that some studies proved that non- leguminous plants proved the importance of cobalt for these plants. It is also, known that cobalt is important for formation of B12 that in turn essential for human and animal food, and inoculation of the soil by the root fungi (palmicoresia) that improves growth and quality of plants that grow in alkaline soils for its beneficial effects on the micro- flora of the soil
dc.description.abstractCobalt is considered as an essential element for leguminous plants, especially for formation of root nodules and for nitrogen fixing processes. As well, it is considered an essential element in formation of B12 that is needed for both human and animal food. It is also, considered as incentive for many plants growth processes in plants other than legumes as, elongating and initiation of auxins and hormones in plants. Soils greatly vary in their cobalt content at deficiency occurs in sandy soil derived from acid igneous rocks or in highly calcareous or peaty soils.
