Social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have turned into a resource of misleading information. Fake news is a form of shoddy journalism that includes forgeries and is widely disseminated throughout media platforms. As a result of political objectives, these are often created to promote or enforce particular beliefs. Programs may spread such news articles, resulting in people being trapped in a filter bubble.

There are numerous challenges to address in the present virtual era. Among them is the spread of blatant propaganda. Fake news is extremely easy to spread. fake information is often circulated in order to damage a person's or institution's credibility. It can be used to spread disinformation against a political group or an organisation. fake information can be spread through a number of different websites. This covers Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
