dc.description.abstractOver the past few decades, the performance of heterogeneous catalysts in alkene hydrogenation using metals has shown successful results. However, it has faced several issues, such as catalyst poisoning, low recyclability, and environmental harm. Therefore, this study investigated the innovative application of electric field-assisted catalysis with reduced graphene oxide-cotton textile (RGOCT) for alkene hydrogenation, employing both experimental and computational techniques.
