Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) is a set of standards for digital television system which have been adapted worldwide instead of analogue system. This system is based on Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM) which allows user the transmission parameters to be changed on a frame by frame basis depending on the particular conditions of the delivery path for each individual user.
