dc.descriptionElectronic commerce (E-commerce) represents one of the objectives of what is known as the digital economy, it usually refers to a new business model using Internet, the buying and selling of products and services by businesses through an electronic medium, without using any paper documents. As it’s well known, security in the virtual world of the Internet, it has many risks as traditional commerce, and e-commerce has more than the risks face in the real world. The world of the Internet has been built by various protocols, rules, and software applications.
dc.description.abstractThere are set of algorithms used to encrypt the secret data of the website and causes delay to the hackers’ cryptanalyses processes. Each algorithm is different than others in the less encrypting duration and delaying hacker’s decrypting duration. The author applied encryption techniques which is the best mechanism used to secure the different e-commerce applications and he selected MD5 specially to be used in this case study and he focused on the weakness points in the website such as Encrypting the user name and password, Encrypting connection and Encrypting Session ID. But selecting and using the best algorithm remains a difficult target.
