In this research, we use the Q decomposition method, known as Abaoub Shkheam decomposition, to obtain approximate analytical solutions for the linear partial propagation wave equations. The proposed scheme finds solutions without any distinction that restrictive assumptions are made; It is also free from rounding errors and thus reduces numerical calculations to a great extent. The fractional derivative described here is in the Caputo sense. An illustrative example is then presented and the results show that the solutions then obtained using this technique agree closely with the sequential solutions then obtained with the help of the Edomite decomposition method.
