| dc.description.abstract | Window methods one of the main FIR filter design techniques, which are classified as fixed or adjustable, exponential window is one of adjustable techniques and it is used in filter design applications which has two independent parameters. In this thesis by using Matlab and simulink, the filter designed for the exponential and hyperbolic cosine window to meet a low pass filter specification, the comparison with the other two parameter windows, namely Cosh and Kaiser, are discussed. Design of FIR low pass filter to used at speech frequencies with three window methods and the filter are designed, by exponential window in polyphase filter bank . Design of FIR filter bank transceiver are used to filter original audio signal, then the original signal compared with decimated signal and interpolated signal.
