This study presents an inventory of the marine mollusca species in Libya and it identifies the diversity of them along the Libyan coast. The samples were collected from Taujura, Garabolli, Ganima, Al-Khomes beaches to Ka’am Lake, from the autumn 2019 to the summer 2020. The results showed that a total of 5196 marine mollusca species belonging to 30 families were distributed mostly along the western coast of Libya. Gastropoda has the most numerous species, represented by 30 species (96% of total species), and followed by 10 species Bivalvia (4%). The largest number of individuals were collected Garabolli station about 4079, followed by Ganima station about 625 followed by Tajura station about 481 a sample followed by Ka’am Lake station followed by Al-Khomes beaches station 7 and 3 respectively.
