Defining BIM is two perspectives, Figure 1.1 [1]. Some argue that BIM is more of a tool for storing and sharing building information. The process of developing a building model is another view of BIM. BIM stands for Building Information Modelling. It is a digital representation of a building's physical and functional characteristics [2]. BIM is a comprehensive process that involves the creation and management of digital models of a building's physical and functional properties. These models are used for design, construction, and operation throughout the building's lifecycle. Overall, BIM enhances collaboration, reduces errors and rework, improves project efficiency, and supports informed decision-making throughout the building's lifecycle [3].
