dc.descriptionThe results of this study have been approve that Al Kufra is the best area for establishing the proposed plant. The optimal configuration for the plant is 100MW capacity, Solar Multipl (SM) = 3.1 and Thermal Energy Storage (TES) = 14 hours with the adoption of air cooling system. The plant with an optimized configuration was simulated and the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE), Capacity Factor (CF), and Overall Efficiency were calculated and found of 7.81 ¢/kWhe, 88% and 15.4%, respectively.
