The aim of this thesis is to judge the performance of different data mining classification algorithms on various datasets. Understand the concept of data analysis and how these methods can be applied on small specific problems such as structured data classification? After the initial research, select a handful of promising methods and compare their performance when classifying data. In the recent years, classification is frequently studied by applying various data mining classification algorithms on different data sets so as to predict the presence of best performance algorithms. However, the availability of several algorithms in data mining for classification often leads to confusion over the selection of the right algorithm. In this study, we have made a comparative analysis of the performances of various classification algorithms mainly on three different data sets.
