This study addresses Egyptian water security as an important dimension of Egyptian national security، as the Nile River is the main source of water in Egypt. Therefore، the Egyptian state is keen to preserve its share of this river's water in light of the escalating disputes and conflicts between the Nile Basin countries، especially between the upstream and downstream countries، to benefit from the Nile River's water to meet their water needs and achieve development. Perhaps the most prominent emerging disputes over the Nile River's water is the Egyptian-Ethiopian dispute over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam، which will lead to a reduction in Egypt's share of the Nile River's water. Several factors have contributed to the exacerbation of this Egyptian-Ethiopian dispute، the most important of which are foreign interventions، especially Israeli interventions represented by providing all forms of material، technological and military support to the Ethiopian side، with the aim of weakening the Egyptian state and subjecting it to the Israeli agenda in the region by controlling its lifeline، which is the Nile Rive
