In this Dissertation we will study the effect of dust and sand storms on microwave link taking in account the effect of humidity on complex permittivity of soil samples and the effect of the height of towers on attenuation, phase shift. and cross depolarization.
The main object of this Dissertation is to study the effect of sand and dust storms on microwave communication links, in the AL-Joufrah region by determining the attenuation, phase shift. and cross depolarization. The result showed that there is some consideration that has to be taken into account in the microwave communication link.
