Consequently, numerous studies have been conducted globally to investigate the causes of poor schedule performance in construction projects. However, most studies have approached project schedule performance from a negative perspective. In contrast, this study adopts a neutral perspective to avoid bias. Furthermore, unlike most studies that focus on a single country, this research examines three countries to determine both local and global factors that influence schedule performance. The study investigates the interactions between schedule performance and schedule determinants in construction projects. Data from 191 projects in Libya, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia were collected using a questionnaire to determine the dominant determinants of schedule performance.
