We compared between practical and analytical for DWDM for optical fiber line from Tripoli to Tarhouna – Alnaher path for distance 127 Km . We took measurements in Hatif Libya – Transmission department Abuslim. These measurements such as input power, output power, total attenuation, attenuation inside fiber per 1Km and gain in EDFA, this is practical work. Then we took these measurements and used them as parameters in optisystm 16 software for calculate BER, Q factor and attenuation, we changed parameters for EDFA for source and EDFA for receiver and compared them with used values in fact, also we changed source power for many values and compared them with source power which used in system.
