Virtual reality (VR) can be defined as a real-time simulation of computer-based user-interface with multiple sensory channels which involve user interactions with virtually built environment, scenario, or activities (Rahman & Shaheen, 2011). The applications of VR technology are becoming the focus of experimental and therapeutic research of wide variety of clinical disciplines. Virtual environments (VEs) in VR can be used to present richly complex multimodal sensory information to the user and can elicit a substantial feeling of realness and agency, despite its artificial nature.
